Kerry spurred me on to finally scan some pictures....
i scanned some pictures of my fabulous puppy, mr.duke. well, 3. maybe 4 if i can get this computer here at work to cooperate. the others were too blurry to even bother. it's hard getting a puppy to be still. but i've already started taking new pictures....i'm such a mom. goodness. but all should go look here: http://community.webshots.com/user/adorablegeek and revel in his cuteness. and tell me what you think, so i can gush about him.
i have a cold. walking to class in the rain today did not help this. i think i shall OD on nyquil when i get home.
my eval.children's lit prof. totally made my day today. this is how the beginning of class went:
dr.johnson(we'll refer to him as 'dj'): whew, i am swamped. i don't even know what class this is. i brought the wrong book!
(dj runs out of class and returns in 5 minutes with book)
dj:this is disconcerting. i've grabbed the wrong book again.
random class member: we can do something else.
dj: yeah, yeah, we'll just have open discussion day on multiculturalism in folktales. haven't you guys ever been like, wow, you can't even function you are so busy?
rcm: yeah, in fact, that's why you should push our next eval. paper off from friday to monday.
dj: (pause) that sounds like a good idea. actually, lets make it wednesday.
class: yay!
amen. amen. now i can actually read the book before i evaluate it. yessss.

i shall be in MP for the 23 and 24. start making your reservations now-my time is filling up quickly.:)
