My friend is attempting to rehome these two dogs before she leaves for Afghanistan next month. They were left behind by the unexpected death of her mother's boyfriend last week and since she is to be deployed she can't keep them.
Tieka or "T" as we call her is the White American Bull Dog. Shes about 4 years old. On May 1st of last year she was hit by a car and almost lost her left hind leg, but has come almost full circle and runs and "kangaroo" jumps like a pup! We're not sure if she's been spayed as we cannot find any paperwork indicating that she has or not but since she has never had a litter we can assume she is. I believe the last time she was seen by a vet was this past August and at that time was given shots to bring her up to date.
"Rah" is the black brindle Half Pitbull, Half Boxer mix. Hes a little over a year old now. I don't believe that he's up to date with shots and vaccinations. He is not neutered.
Ideally we would LOVE to see them go to a home together, as they would be lost without each other, especially after JUST loosing their dad. They ARE house broken, but still have a few accidents if left for extended periods of time alone. They both have somewhat of a chewing problem, but I think it could be easily fixed with a little bit of training. The biggest problem is they dont like to be left alone.
Rah gets along with kids and cats, but T does not.
