I am posting this for the HRS chapter that I foster for. Please forward it to anyone you know who can help.
FOSTER HOMES NEEDED.
T.H.E. Rabbit Resource, the Upstate NY chapter of the House Rabbit Society, is in dire need of foster homes. Most of our local shelters are at or over capacity and we currently have ten rabbits in need of foster homes. We expect that this number will only continue to increase as we get more and more calls from shelters each day.
FIVE THINGS YOU CAN DO:
1.] If you are over 21 and would like to become a foster parent, please fill out the application here.
2.] If you would like to adopt a bunny, please see our available bunnies here and fill out an application here.
3.] If you can't adopt a bunny but would still like to ease our financial burden, you can make a tax-deductable donation here. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit.
4.] If you have extra time that you can donate, email our chapter manager, Davida, to find a foster home nearest you that d use a housekeeper. Even if you only have an hour or two to spare each week, it can make a world of difference for some of our foster parents. Davida's email is hazelbert[at]roadrunner[dot]com
5.} Spread the word! Forward this to anyone and everyone you know in the Upstate NY area.
