Kitty Help
As you may recall, I created the kitty litter cabinets. Chester walks through the first half with a carpet mat to get to the box. He's been using it fine.
About a week ago I noticed he peed on the mat side of the first made cabinet. I started monitoring litter box usage. I took that mat out to clean. All was fine for a few days. He then peed on the other mat once. I kept both mats out thinking that would stop. I found pee on the mat side (sans mat) today.
He has three litter boxes that I scoop daily. All boxes have swheat scoop clumping litter of varying use. If you place him in the box, he will use it at that point and he goes in on his own frequently as well. I don't see issues around the rest of the house.
I need to stop this issue asap. I was thinking of taking the cabinet door off the non litter side.
Any other suggestions?! Maybe try a different litter in one of the boxes?
