Writer's Block: Dreams
I have a lot of recurring dreams. One of the main ones is sort of told in story form, where I'm usually just watching it all happen from the sidelines. There's always a couple, fairly young, the woman has blonde curly hair and green eyes, and the man has dark brown hair and brilliant blue eyes. I don't know much about them, but I know that they're from far away, from another planet. They came here with a bunch of other people, but the people they came with never liked them much, and they always felt ostracized. They turned to each other for support, but they hated being here and missed their home. One day, they leave their spaceship where it's parked in the woods and go to look around, leaving everyone else from their planet back on the ship. When they arrive back to the clearing, the ship is already taking off. They're being left behind to rot on the planet that they hate. The reason I remember this dream is because of the looks on the couple's faces as they stand in the woods watching their only connection to home flying away. It was just this awful look of utter heartbreak, but as the dream continues, they say that at least they have each other, and they can get through this together. It's such a strange dream.
