This question is a hard one to face. Though there are many minds I might like to change if there is only one; it would be my father. When I was in my thirteenth year my father, the head of our house, angered many of the houses here in the capitol. I am not sure what he did but they were demanding monetary compensation. He never told my mother. Her house is much more influential then my father’s and they would have helped with whatever the problem was. He let it go on too long, let the other houses get too angry. Instead of asking for help he decided the wisest course of action was to send his daughter into slavery to pay his debt. He never told my mother what happened; let her believe I was kidnapped and dead. I lost ten years of my life for his inability to face responsibility. I hate him for it. It is the only decision I could imagine changing.
