Sunday in the city
I posted this on Facebook, Twitter, and in the Dragonfly, but I think there are a few people who are here who are not in any of those places.
I went to see the play Regrets yesterday. I went alone, because I couldn't find a buddy to go with me, but it worked out fine. I took the bus to the Port Authority, and then walked up to 55th St (about 12 blocks up, plus an Avenue and a half). I got my pre-paid ticket (Thank you, Goldstar!) and found a really cute little place for lunch: Radiance Tea House, which was literally across the street from the theatre.
The weather was gorgeous! It was a really nice day for walking around. I wore my Dragonfly Inn t-shirt, for a specific reason.
I got what I went for. I'd seen her in Love, Loss, and What I Wore (Or "Love Loss" as she called it!) but was a little rushed at the stage door. This time, I got to have a small conversation with her (I could have talked longer, but I wasn't prepared for such a long conversation and I got tongue tied) and finally got the picture. (We posed, but the camera didn't take the picture last time!)
Oh, and then I had to meander down to 41st street to visit a certain upcoming musical...
