Get it right or pay the price

From an article dated 14 January 2008:

Last year Ventimiglia joined the cast of another critically acclaimed show, NBC’s “American Dreams” (2002). He portrayed a 60’s war radical and helps bring the show into the 70’s.

NO! HE DIDN'T! First of all, it was close to THREE years ago now, not "last year." "Last year," he was costarring in a NEW SHOW. Called HEROES. BRAND NEW SHOW. He did not "join the cast." He was in it from the beginning.

But more than that. More than that. What really gets me ranty is that HE DIDN'T HELP BRING THE SHOW INTO THE '70S BECAUSE THE SHOW WAS FREAKING CANCELED WHEN IT WAS STILL 1966 IN SHOW TIME! 1966 is not "The 70s"!!!! If the show hadn't been CANCELED BEFORE ITS TIME, perhaps he would have helped bring the show into the '70s. GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT, STUPID ARTICLE WRITERS.

If the show was still on, Milo would still be Chris, I never would have even turned on Bedford, and there wouldn't be the Peter Petrelli that we know and love. (Okay, that I know and love.) Brittany probably wouldn't have had time to do movies such as Hairspray, and a certain other movie from summer '06 that is my supreme guilty pleasure. But on the other hand... Pryors!

I'd gladly exchange Ted Sprague for Pete Pryor, but to exchange Chris Pierce for Peter Petrelli? Tough choice. Especially when Peter comes with Nathan Petrelli. That's a duo I can't resist, and if Chris was still around, and Peter wasn't... Peter, I never would have watched Heroes, and gotten obsessed, and gotten to know all the people I got to know through watching the show. Not to mention, discovering all these talented actors that I'd never heard of previously.

So... I dunno. If it wasn't for Heroes, I'd say "Bring back Chris."
