AN: i know it's a short chapter, but more's on the way
“WHERE IS HE?” could be heard though the closed door of Asami’s office.
The secretary outside the office flinched. Something like this never happened. She never heard Asami scream before. Not even when his business was threatened with being brought down by the police or other rivals.
Inside, Kirishima and Suoh tried to calm Asami down. But as things were going it was futile.
They didn’t know where Akihito was. No one has seen him after his performance two nights ago. Neither his friends, nor his family, not even his bodyguards knew about his whereabouts. They lost his track after Akihito rushed off the stage.
Asami was just like o bomb a tick away from exploding.
And a certain person inside his office wasn’t easing thing out.
“Forget about that boy.” Kari said. “We should be thinking about our baby.” She continued as she put her hand on Asami’s shoulder.
Asami shrugged her hand off his shoulder, but she put it back and continued to talk about HER future plans about HIM and THEIR child.
Just then Asami snapped.
“Fuck off! There is no WE and OURS!” Kari flinched, but continued to talk about her plans.
“But WE have to prepare. It’s already this late. WE have to hurry with the wedding. I’m going to be showing soon.”
Asami stood up and with a menacing glint in his eyes he leaned over Kari. “There is no WE, no US, and certainly NO WEDDING.”
Kari took a step back. “But…”
“If it turns out that the child is mine, I will take care and provide for him. But, there will be NO wedding.”
“But, what will…”
“But on the other hand, if it turns out that the child isn’t mine, consider this as your warning.” Was all Asami said and stepped out of the office. His two most trusted men following him.
Kari sat down. Her legs were trembling and her face was pale.
