A Broom to Sweep Up All the Troubles You and I Have Seen
Well, am in much better spirits today than Friday. Not that things were corrected, they weren't. But time's been good for the altercation between Mom and I. That seems to be okay now.
My meeting for my stamping club last night went really well. We didn't do a project, but I always think those meeting are more fun anyway. I forgot a couple elements of my goodie bags, but that's okay, I'll hand them out next month :) Foodwise, the only thing I cared about went off without a hitch. The ice cream terrine was *awesome*. It was the most bitchingly delicious ice cream dessert in franklin county. it looked gorgeous and tasted better. Not only that, but it was so different from what anybody else has done, so I was thrilled to have surprised people :D Denise came to the meeting late from a wedding and she'd missed having cake... She said that she was happier having the terrine than she'd have been having cake. I was thrilled to hear that.
Finally finished what I had to turn into at 5pm. It's not great, but we'll see. I think it's alright. Besides we don't get a grade on it til the end of the quarter after who knows how many revisions. Yay for that being done tho!
Now get to go out to dinner :D It's Xiao-Xiao's birthday today! I didn't get to do the gift buying. We got him a a couple of sets of fun little cars. I wrapped them and they look cute :D and we're also giving Qiu Kui a yo-yo with a couple cool elements so she doesn't feel too left out.
