Since Armageddon, Gwendolyn always found her time picking up flowers in the field near their small hut as her favorite way of killing time while her husband away.
'Without anyone, it is quiet...and lonely' as she always thought.
Being sole survivors, without parents, other friends and society. Ah, how she missed her kind Myris and wise Broom. How she missed to hear her maid's chatters, and how she missed...his presence. Oswald has been away for months seeking for other survivors, Velvet and Cornelius. Only several weeks after he took his leave, she found herself pregnant with his child.
'Will he come to see his child's birth?'
Even for the proud valkyrie who stand strong in any battlefield she found herself weakening in waiting. Oswald's presence is all she needs right now, how she missed his touches and soft whispers, how she missed his care and attention. For now, all she can do now is waiting, no matter how unbearable it is, she is waiting for her beloved.
A soft kick in her belly brought her back to reality, a realization, that no matter how far away, he will always coming back to her. Instantly, she feels light, that her hope is not an illusion. Oswald will be on her side again soon, along with her sister and pooka friend. Everything would be fine, and all she has to do is waiting for her dreams come true.
