Well Christmas has once again brushed its bountiful face apon us,and now its complete.I always find it wild,how we rush about to buy all the gifts,and wrap all the gifts,and bake and cook,and then christmas is here and gone within the blink of an eye,it makes you realize just how short life is.
so a breakdown,because I like to say breakdown.
my parents got me a wonderful record player,along with a copy of 'Vhs or Beta ,night on fire' on vinyl,and I must say i love it! I am quite eager to get started on my vintage vinyl adventure if you will! I also recieved some amazing discs,from my wonderful brother,I recieved,Grace by Jeff Buckley 'the legacy edition' and I gotta say i adore the dylan cover,and then forget her,oh don't get me started. I aslo recieved Nick Drake 'Made To Love Magic' and it is breathtaking.just absolutely amazing.then I recieved Bob Dylan's Live in 1946 philharmonic concert,which absolutely leaves me in a trance,its just amazing to hear something created long before my birth. TWO DISCS BABY!.(thank youuu caleb) i also recieved simon and garfunkels 'bridge over troubled water'.which I adore.And My glorious sister purchased for me the arrested development first season on dvd,as well as tru calling!and then a signed picture of amy acker,which is just so amazingly sexy,words cannot describe.I aslo recieved a portable dvd player,dodgeball on dvd,several articles of clothing,a shirt from another sister that reads 'I have animal magnetism,whenever I go outside Squirrels stick to my clothing' It reminds me of sofa!
then on christmas eve,we all decided to play this chinese gift game,well it was more of a planned game,everyone bought a gift blah blah,everyone gets a gift,you can steal someone elses etc,worked out well!,my sister got my family and I a vacation to some resort,the name escapes me lol..and Then I got my family a trip to vegas baby! so yeah march and june! anyone wanna hide in my luggage?
so today,had a big family meal,then some of us went to a movie,which has become somewhat of a tradition,so yeah half of us saw 'meet the fockers' and half 'fat albert',Originally i was going to see the life aquatic but we missed the showing,so perhaps tomorrow then.meet the fockers was great,stiller ruled as always.
ooh i also got shaun of the dead on dvd,and i have to say its the best movie ive seen in along time,I love it,so original.
in six days ill be 23! yikes.
