(no subject)
I've been battling fleas on Lil' Angle since April. I even gave her a bath (shudder). They're back with a vengeance. Stella told me about a pill you can give them that will kill the fleas instantly. I could not find this pill. Even if I did, I need to do something to prevent them from getting on her. Ideally, I'd flea bomb the house. However, I, along with Lil Angle, would have to vacate the house for 4 hours, and what in god's name would I do with her? Plus, I don't feel comfortable flea bombing the house with all of my new baby stuff. It seems....not very healthy. Ha. So today I spent over $100 on flea products. I bought stuff to spray the yard, stuff to spray in the house around the doors and window, stuff to spray her (that was about as pleasant as I thought it would be yet better than a bath), and new flea collars. And her favorite "breath mint" treats.
Lil Angle loves sleeping in 3 places: on a stack of newspapers under our kitchen shelves (?), on top of my open suitcase (??), and the super nice case that our super nice BBQ utensils came in (???). Since I went to great pains to spray her and get rid of the fleas, I'm catching her sleeping near any available door/window. WTF. Is she TRYING to attract fleas now? I even caught her by the door at the back of the house, right next to her litter box. She NEVER hangs out over there.
That cat is incorrigible! At least she no longer hangs out in the baby's room.
