The Hornets game was SO AWESOME. That was the first time I'd been to a basketball game in FOREVER. I forgot how much fun they can be.
I think the best part of the game was being able collectively boo the Spurs. Man, I love jeering!!! It's like Gladiator, but not at all! Seriously, I can't stand the Spurs. They are even more annoying in person, especially when they whine to the refs. Their dives and flops are WAY MORE OBVIOUS in person as well. Usually I feel sort of bad for teams when they get their ass kicked, but not with the Spurs. I was so happy we won. The Suns will always be my #1 team, but the Hornets are now a close second. I just wish people wouldn't do the whole "Wooooooooo!" thing when Chris Paul scores. It's really annoying, ha.
Man, I'm tired. I am usually in bed by 10 or 10:30, not 12:30. It was worth it.
Go Hornets! Win so maybe I can live the dream of collectively jeering the Lakers next!
