You're Going to Think I'm So Lame After This

Jul 26, 2007 18:30

If you've read my MySpace blog you already know what the jist of this email is. If you haven't, I apologize now because this is kind of obnoxious. I'm actually just seeing where I can take this. It's going to sound like a mix between a get rich quick scheme and one of those spam things you see all the time, but I swear that there is a method to my ( Read more... )

Actually I don't think that's lame, that's kinda neat, the write up idea. And hey, there's always the snowflake's chance in hell that it actually works.

Also, consider this your comment spam. :D

Hah! What's funny about that is I tried it but never earned more than like five bucks and it got really annoying having to click all the links and wait for them to load. I suppose that's where the other people signing on comes in handy.

I'm lame and don't have a friends only tag on my journal, but if you want to add me, feel free. My life isn't exciting, but it does have a little more going for it than email schemes! :D

Consider yourself added! I haven't kept an LJ in eons, either. It feels weird getting back into things... but at least LJ is no longer blocked at work, which is one of the biggest reasons I quit using it. Hmm, possibilites have arisen.... :D

Sweet. I added you too. I've been on and off LJ over the past few years but have been pretty into it this past year. Like I said, I phase alot. I can go weeks without blogging and then all of a sudden it's all I want to do. Same with reading, writing, any of the other little hobbies I pick up along the way.

LJ isn't blocked at work but I have to watch my step so I try to avoid it during the workday and just do all my LJ stuff at night.

I've been so stretched for time since I moved into my apartment that I've let most of my hobbies go. I work full time and go to school full time so my days are usually pretty full. I should be done with school in August though and then I will be able to get back into things that I want to to. Yay for free time!

Oh wow, yeah, that's busy. I always have a hard time getting back into my hobbies after a move, though in theory I can't wait to get to our new place so I can actually pursue some of mine. Free time and down time is good. I'm taking alot of it this weekend in hopes that I'll be back to my old non-sick and non-depressed self by Monday.

All the things I 'mean' to do when I have free time are still in the same denim backpack that I've started keeping them in since high school. One day, I really will get to them! I swear it!

Sickness and depression are no good. I feel you on both. I've been both this past month. But I've started to feel better in the last few weeks. I hope you feel better too. But it's definitely going around.

I'd need a huge bag to keep all my "get to someday" things in. I'm always getting the urge to do something but that urge doesn't stay for as long as I'd like it to. I've learned to go with the flow though and not stress out about hobbies.

This sickness started off as the stomach flu and is now feeling like strep. So it's alot of bed rest for me this weekend. I thought it was me, but several other people have been through this same stuff so yeah, it's apparently just a bad strain.

I ended up with a full blown sinus infection and ear infection and a three-day fever. Do what I did- top yourself up with ny-quil and just sleep through the worst of it. :D

I think that's the plan for today and tomorrow. I can't get out of leaving the house tonight. Laundry needs to be done and we need to get a few things from the store. But before and after it's all about knocking myself out. NyQuil tastes horrible but it does the trick.

NyQuil is the god of sleep in glorious elixir format.

Feeling any better?

I am feeling better. The weekend of rest was really good for me and I managed to get through a Monday at work without freaking out. Still have a little ways to go until I'm feeling 100% perky, but this is a vast improvement.

Yay for feeling better! I've had a rough couple of days but I think I slept for a straight 12 hours last night so I'm hoping that has some nice effects over the next few days. -sigh- I haven't been able to work on my fic and it's bugging me that I haven't had the time. I have come cool ideas.

Long hours of sleep are wonderful. I don't always get the sleep I crave. I hear you on the story thing. I've hit a wall. I know where I want to take my story, I'm just kind of stuck on the tone I want to set. I'm a little frustrated right now about it, but I'm sure it'll pick up again. Right now I'm kind of trying to focus on my physical and mental health...I hate leaving the story on hold, but it may be a necessary evil right now.
