You're Going to Think I'm So Lame After This

If you've read my MySpace blog you already know what the jist of this email is. If you haven't, I apologize now because this is kind of obnoxious. I'm actually just seeing where I can take this. It's going to sound like a mix between a get rich quick scheme and one of those spam things you see all the time, but I swear that there is a method to my madness. I'm putting it out there and if anyone wants to jump on with me, cool...if not, no worries. It's not really that big of a deal.

So as some of you know, I'm doing anything and everything I can to try to make some extra money. I'm working overtime, writing articles, and answering ads on Craigslist. This weekend I get to go help someone move...yay me! I'm not only paying bills and still trying to have a life, but I'm also working on getting my credit score up so I can buy a house in a year or so. And I don't even need to talk about plane tickets home and concert tickets and all the other "fun" stuff I still want to fit into life. So yeah, I'm doing what I can and saving and budgeting and all that fun stuff.

I even hit the low point and started checking out those "read emails and get paid sites" which actually seem to be easier than the "take surveys and get paid" sites because I can open a window and close it right down and still get credit. Of course most of them just aren't worth the time no matter which way you slice it. But that's actually what this email is about.

I got the link for a site that gives you ten dollars to sign up and then pays you 2 cents per email you read. They give you about 3 to 5 emails per day, which is really not going to pay any bills at 2 cents per email. But I figured what the heck, when it hit $25 I'd get it cashed out just to see if it worked. Needless to say I haven't yet hit $25. But then I found out that this site works like one of those retarded pyramid schemes and that you supposedly get paid for up to two tiers as well.

I am wondering if this really works. It's a longshot and I'm actually thinking it's not a real big moneymaker, but I'm curious. I thought I'd ask my friends out there in MySpace and LiveJournal if anyone would like to help me see if it works. Basically you'd say "Sure, I'll give a shot" and you'd click the link below that you would take to sign up. Then I would see if it works. Of course if the theory works, the extra money would be great to have for everyone involved. However, that's not all I'm trying to do this for. I'm thinking it would be an interesting article to write. If I found out if it actually works, or even if it didn't, I could do a write up on it. Those who wanted to help could give me their input and opinions and I could even quote you guys (if you didn't mind).

So that's it. I thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone wanted to try it. Don't think I'm a nerd or obnoxious for asking. I'm actually more interested in finding out for the article than I am to make money because I'm extremely skeptical about these things. It's an easy process (I think you have to have paypal though). But it's free to sign up. I haven't come across any area where I had to pay or even give them alot of personal information.

If anyone wants to help me out or just wants more info on it, let me know. I can give you the scoop on what I've done with it so far. I'll post the link at the bottom of this page if you want to check it out, but please don't feel like you have to. Also, if you do it and want to give me info later for the article, comment and let me know so I know to contact you when that time comes.

The link to hit if you want to check it out is:
