A/N: Sorry it took so long to get the sequel out. I came down with the flu and it was def giving me writers block. But I have many ideas for this next story so hopefully I'll be able to get the chapters out more frequently. Also much thanks to
amazingwaffles for letting me bounce all my ideas for this next part off of you. If not for you I would never been able to come up with this sequel. So enough of my babbling. Enjoy!

“Did you mean it?”
Selena’s eyes snapped open as she found herself staring into the eyes of the one she had just dedicated her last song of the night too. She hadn’t thought it was possible but Destiny stood right in front of her. Selena was frozen in her spot for a moment as she processed what was going on in her mind. When she realized that it wasn’t a dream Selena quickly spoke knowing she didn’t want to waste the opportunity to get things right.
“Every word of it.”
It seemed as if time itself froze as Selena stood nervously staring at Destiny as she waited for some kind of reaction from the other girl. She had hoped that the words she had spoke on stage would somehow be heard by the other girl and now that she knew that they had Selena desperately wanted to know what the other girl thought. She wanted to know if she still had a chance to make things right. She wanted to know if Destiny was willing to give her a second chance. With every second that passed Selena felt as if the hope inside of her was slowly being drained from her.
“I don’t want to be hurt again,” Destiny said quietly a moment later.
Destiny’s eyes pled for Selena not to make any movements towards her unless she was serious about what she wanted. Selena knew she didn’t want anyone else so she slowly moved away across the room towards Destiny. She moved slowly so that she didn’t cause the other girl to flee from the room.
“I never want to hurt you again,” Selena told her.
Destiny nodded as she moved forward to meet Selena. Their lips crashed together and the world seemed to slip away as Selena pulled the other girl tightly into her arms. The sounds of the Jonas Brothers in the background faded away. Nothing seemed to matter anymore. Selena was given that second chance and she knew she wasn’t going to screw it up.
Everything about that moment just seemed right. From the way her lips fit perfect against Destiny’s to the way their bodies melded together. The two girls pulled back when air became an issue gasping for breath. Selena rested her forehead against Destiny’s and she tried to stare into the other girls eyes even when they were so close to each other.
“I’m falling for you,” Selena whispered, “And I don’t think I want to stop.”
“I know the feeling,” Destiny whispered back with a smile.
Selena grinned. She didn’t think she had ever been happier in her life. She didn’t think anything could break apart that happiness. If only she knew what was to come.

Demi Lovato glared angrily at the dressing room door where she knew her ex-best friend Selena Gomez was with her arch nemesis Destiny Chase. She had come to the concert hoping that she could convince the other girl that Demi could help her get over Destiny. Then when she had seen the dedication that Selena had delivered just before she sang her last song she knew she had needed to act fast. Yet Destiny had acted faster. By the time Demi had gotten back stage to go wait in Selena’s dressing room for the concert to finish she had spotted her nemesis heading into the room already.
Demi practically seethed with anger as she thought about all the possibilities of what was going on behind the closed door. She assumed that Destiny had forgiven the other Disney girl by now. It had, after all, been a very heartwarming and touching dedication. Then what Selena hadn’t been able to convey in her dedication had really been driven home with her newly written song that she had performed for the first time ever. It was a special song and Demi was jealous that Destiny had gotten the song instead of her.
Destiny wasn’t supposed to be with Selena. It was Demi that was supposed to be with the other Disney girl. They had been best friends since they were eight years old and Demi had invited Selena to color on her jacket. It only made sense that Demi was supposed to be the one that stole Selena’s heart in the end. It was only right that they ended up together.
“Stare a little harder and you might be able to burn a hole in the door Dems.”
Demi spun around to tell off whoever had just had the nerve to say something to her when she noticed that it was her friend Chloe Bridges. She had almost forgot that she had gone to the concert with Chloe.
“It’s nothing,” Demi said pushing off her staring as something trivial.
Chloe nodded and to Demi’s delight didn’t push further as to why Demi had been glaring at Selena’s dressing room door as if she wanted the door to die.
“So there’s a few of us headed back to my hotel room for a small after party,” Chloe told her, “You in?”
Demi glanced back at the door before she slid her famous Demi Lovato smirk. She had lost that round for Selena, but that didn’t mean she couldn’t have a little fun while she waited to win the war.
“Let’s party!”
