Pairing: Demi/Selena, Selena/Destiny
Disclaimer: No one could possibly own Selena/Demi. I only own the character Destiny.
Summary: She was only trying to get away from the creepy stalker, she never could have imagined the consequences of banging her way into a random hotel room.
A/N: So no matter how many times I told myself that I should be studying I went ahead and wrote the next chapter. It was if my lap top was just sitting there demanding that it get written. Also I want to thank amazingwaffles for helping me with the chapter and for giving me an awesome idea for a future chapter.

The last few days had been hard for Destiny as the rehearsals were getting more demanding and the competition they were facing was getting harder to defeat. The only thing that had kept Destiny going was the knowledge that the more her team won the longer she was able to stay in LA. She knew that once she lost her and her team would have to head back home to New York and Destiny was determined to find out what was going on with Selena.

The last few days Destiny had found herself falling into a comfortable routine. During the day Destiny spent most of her time either practicing various dance routines with her friends or working on her own dance routine. Then at night she would slip out of her hotel room once Selena returned from work so they could spend the night together. The routine had quickly fallen in place after that first night they had really got to know each other and after that it had just been an unspoken agreement.

Destiny felt her pocket vibrate. She knew Alexis hated it when they kept their cell phones on during practice, but lately she had been ignoring the rule as she received a text from Selena every once in awhile. She pulled out her I-Phone from her pocket as discreetly as she could. She couldn’t help the grin that slid across her lips as she read the message.

‘I wish you were here’
“Destiny,” Alexis said from behind Destiny.

Destiny spun around as she quickly shoved her phone back in her pocket. She hoped that she hadn’t been caught reading her text message. She remembered that Amy had been kicked out of practice once when she got caught texting.

“Don’t make me have to kick you out of practice too,” Alexis teased, as if she had read Destiny’s mind.

Destiny glanced around the room wondering what had happened to the Alexis she knew. The rest of the team wasn’t paying attention as they were in the corner checking out the music selection for the next round. She turned her attention back at her friend confused as why Alexis hadn’t blew up on her for texting like she had done so many other times.

“Don’t get used to this Alexis,” Alexis told her upon seeing her confused expression, “I’m just glad to see you’re happy again. I’ll give you the pass this time.”

With that Alexis turned and headed over to the rest of the team leaving Destiny to think about what she had just said. She couldn’t help but wonder how it had been possible for Selena to have such an effect on her so fast. She hadn’t experienced that since Allison.

“Ok I think that’s enough for today,” Alexis announced.

After Alexis gave her usual closing announcement Destiny headed over to grab her bag from the floor. For the first time all week they had finished their rehearsal before lunch and Destiny wanted to try surprise Selena with lunch at her set.

“I’m sorry.”

Destiny turned around and found Allison standing behind her. She stared at the other woman as if she had no idea what she was talking about. But in reality she knew exactly what Allison was trying to say. It seemed that whenever Destiny was happy Allison would want Destiny back. However this time was going to be different. Destiny wasn’t going to let herself fall back in the cycle that was her and Allison. It would only end in pain and depression. The last time it had happened Alexis had been the only reason she hadn’t just given up her spot on the dance team.

“Don’t be,” Destiny told her before she turned and headed out of the ballroom.

The fast few days Selena had been finding it easier to concentrate on her scenes. It had taken her awhile, but she soon realized it was because if the scene was perfect then she was able to get out of work quicker. Once her day was over she knew that the night would bring the chance for her to spend time with Destiny. Ever since they had hung out the other day they had fallen into a comforting routine. Selena would work all day and then at night she would get to spend time with Destiny in her hotel room.

Before she had hated the fact that her Mom would disappear somewhere she could be alone with Brian, Selena’s step father. Yet now that she had Destiny to occupy her time she found that she didn’t care as much. She knew that if her Mom had been the good parent she never would have let Destiny barge into their lives.

“Hey Selena that was a perfect take,” the Director told her before he wandered off.

“Almost too perfect,” Maria, Selena’s Mom on the show, commented.

“I’m just on a roll today I guess,” Selena said as she smiled innocently.

Of course Selena wasn’t going to admit the fact that she wanted to get back to her hotel room because she missed Destiny. If she told Maria that then it would mean she was admitting how much her life was being affected by the other girl. Maria had been the only one besides Taylor and David who had known about her love for Demi. She wasn’t ready to admit to Maria, the woman who was more of a mother then her own, that she was falling for someone new.

Maria stared at her for a long time, her expression unreadable. Selena swallowed unsure what the other woman was thinking. For a second Selena wondered if Maria could hear her thoughts. Did she know what Selena wasn’t saying?

“It’s good to see you happy again,” Maria told her.

Before Selena was able to ask what she meant by that Maria was called off to tape another scene. Since Selena didn’t have to be back on set until after lunch she decided to head back to her dressing room. As she walked she checked her phone. She still didn’t have any new text messages from Destiny. She was disappointed as she had sent the other text message almost an hour ago. She sighed hoping the reason Destiny hadn’t replied was because she was still in rehearsal. David quickly caught up with her after she started walking.

“You want to go grab some lunch?” David asked.

“No I think I’m just going to take a nap dressing room,” Selena replied.

“Ok,” David said with a smile, “I’ll see you later.”

She watched as he walked away before she headed into the room. She quickly shut the door locking it hoping that no one would need her during the break.

“Took you long enough.”

A grin spread across Selena’s lips as she turned around to find Destiny sitting on the couch. In front of the girl was a bunch of containers that held Chinese food. Selena didn’t say anything as she crossed the room and wrapped her arms around Destiny.

“I missed you,” Selena mumbled into Destiny’s neck.

“I missed you too,” Destiny told her, “I figured you’d like the surprise.”

Selena pulled away from Destiny but didn’t let go of the girl. She stared deep into her blue orbs feeling herself get lost in them. Then without warning she leaned in her lips crashing down on Destiny’s. Destiny sighed happily as she grinned into the kiss.
“I’m not that hungry,” Selena admitted when their kiss broke apart, “But I wouldn’t mind taking a nap with you.”

Destiny just nodded. She hadn’t been that hungry herself. The Chinese had been more for Selena then for herself. Destiny kicked off her sneakers and Selena followed her example. Selena settled herself so that her back was towards the other girl with Destiny’s arms wrapped protectively around Selena.

“I could get used to this,” Destiny spoke into Selena’s neck.

“Me too,” Selena agreed.

It was then she noticed that Destiny had drifted off to sleep. Before she knew her own breathing slowed so that it matched the sleeping girl behind her. She drifted off to sleep not noticing her phone go off on the table beside them. The text popped up, lighting up Selena’s I-Phone.

‘I should never have let you go. I can’t live without you’
