[Private]
Welcome to Memento Eden, Kyouya.
What can be made of a place like this? The consensus seems to be that it's peaceful and that we're taken care of, but the fact of the matter is we're hostages. Even if there is food and board available, and even if our memories can eventually be recovered, can we truly trust the intentions of people who kidnapped us and stole our memories? Can we even trust that the recovered memories are really our own?
And that's discounting the sheer impossibility of this place and the ability to give and remove a person's memories that way. It's enough to make me consider those ramblings of that idiot. There's really no choice but to accept what is presumed to be impossible, but to accept it entirely and without question, the way most seem to do, would be the height of naiveté. I don't trust this place or any of its rules and eccentricities. I will play along for now, as there isn't any other choice, but I won't be getting too comfortable.
So in the spirit of playing along, let's assume what I do remember is true, and what assumptions seem obvious in fact are.
My name is Kyouya. I am a high school student, and the school I attend is a private school called Ouran High School. It is likely I come from a wealthy family; though certainly this school accepts scholarship students and I'm certain I would qualify, the high quality of my clothing and my cell phone do indicate that I possess certain means. Haruhi and Tamaki attend Ouran High School as well, and as there doesn't appear to be an age discrepancy, it is likely if we had our memories we would be aware of one another. Does this mean our home is located nearby, or that this island is easily accessible from it? My general impression was that for there to be three of us, while not unheard of, isn't an everyday occurrence, either.
Haruhi seems sensible enough, and I think I'll find that connection valuable. It's interesting whenever a person chooses to hide something like that, and I can only wonder what the reason for it might be. But playing along is the order of the day, isn't it?
Tamaki, on the other hand, is the sort of person I can't stand. It's troubling that one of the few people I have some sort of connection with possesses that regrettable combination of idiocy and annoying cheerfulness. I suppose I'll have to put up with it until I've learned what I can, though hopefully I can get the necessary information from Haruhi instead.
But...will it really be that simple? That they're both students I have little connection with is unlikely at this point. Both of their names appear in my cell phone contacts list. I do have a lot of contacts (many appear to be names of businesses, and I seem to receive daily stock market reports, as well), but certainly not every student figures in there. And Tamaki appears several times on my Recent Missed Calls list. Does this mean I willingly spend time with that moron, or is it something so simple as a request for help with schoolwork? Time will tell, I suppose.
For now, Kyouya. A wealthy high school student with an interest in business, dubious taste in contacts, and no other memories to speak of. There's a lot to be done.

Well, I've settled in and had a chance to explore the town. I am grateful for the assistance when I arrived, so please do let me know if any of you ever need a favor in return.
It's interesting here. Is the school a requirement, and are the faculty any good? I think I'd be interested in attending.
But honestly, why the fascination with melons?
((Private ramblings are hackable, since Kyouya hasn't got the hang of it yet! But they won't be *too* easy, since he's pretty sharp with things like that))
