Just get your story, the ideas and thoughts you have, onto the page and then go back and worry about perfecting it.
We're all going to write and rewrite our manuscripts several times before they are perfect, and by then the story we will have will most likely barely resemble that first draft, except for the characters and the plot line.
I'm not sure if this helps or not, but I know that this advice definitely helped me alot.

I have to warn you, though, that the writing posted in my journal is all excerpts from the novel I am working on and it is about werewolves. Its not completely campy, though, I can assure you. There's a whole page dedicated to it on facebook under the title Les Loups-Garous if you'd like to check it out.
I am hoping to find someone who will be able to really tell me what they think about what they read in my journal and are also willing to offer up suggestions when necessary.
