lj/tumblr cross-pollination?

hey, all. hope this isn't considered too off-topic, but since tumblr's tagging/categorizing system is kind of a hot mess, i figured this is a better place to ask: are any lj people also writing on tumblr? i've found tons of angsty teenage poetry & hackneyed writing advice thus far, but not much else.

I post to tumblr (star trek xi related fics k/s, k/m, and s/u) just for the exposure. But at the same time, I cross post to LJ, DW, Ao3, and FF.net

I'm adding your LJ. I have a tumblr that I haven't done much with recently-- same username-- but I don't put any of my original work on there anyway. I do like your prose snippets. Do you cross-post?

sweet-- & thank you. i'll add you back on both also. every so often, lines from lj entries make their way onto my tumblr, but other than that, no cross-posting. my lj is less focused & more conversational. entries don't usually have much of a narrative structure & tend to be a hodge-podge of whatever sticks out in my mind since the last entry. odd but true: typing into a different box somehow makes the words come out differently for me.

We used to be lj friends way back in the visionarytics days. I have just deleted my tumblr and reactivated my old lj and have added you :). I'm excited to have found your journal now years later.

ah, nice to see you here! i'm so bad at keeping up with updating lj these days, but i'm often reading... & i always end up returning to writing, haha.

ha, likewise! i decided to do a total rehab of my tumblr the other day & actually attach my name to it. i wasn't expecting the amount of traffic/followers i received in a short span of time, especially for a personal site in which i wasn't re-blogging anything (guess i underestimated how much people on tumblr care about original content!) i figured since people seemed to be actually reading, i should have my name on it. the url is now http://alinapleskova.tumblr.com - i was hoping the change would just redirect from the old link, but no such luck1
