(no subject)

Do you ever feel like you're a tree falling in a forest, wondering if you make a sound when no one is around to hear you? That's sort of how I feel right now about writing. So let's make some noise! Words are meant to be shared, aren't they?

What I write: I write something along the lines of cross-genre character-based multi-narrative introspective episodic flash fiction. That's really just fancy mumbo-jumbo for "I write short fiction involving the same two characters in different settings and genres." I just liked all the kooky words.

Here is a quick introduction to my two characters, Tanim and Daren, and descriptions of my tags to give you an idea of what I write about.

What I don't write/read: Fan-fiction. Other than that, I'm fairly open.

What I read: Livejournal-wise, I'll read anything someone puts love and effort into. Literature-wise, my favorite authors are Ray Bradbury, Ellen Kushner, Roger Zelazny, Joe Hill, Neil Gaiman, and Carol Berg.

My Journal: My journal is used purely for writing. I update frequently, but my pieces are usually very short. Everything is organized by tags and is pretty easy to navigate.

What I'm Looking For: Writers who need readers; readers who need writers. I'm looking for people who are eager to share their work and who in turn want to get to know mine. I'd prefer people who have journals entirely (or at least mostly) devoted to their writing, versus daily life type journals. Basically, I'm looking for friends!
