I went looking for Bloodaxe. Ran into him at his secret hiding spot. He said he was looking for me as well. We flew to Everlook and went a bit further away into the forests and talked for a bit.
He said I should go. And I couldn't agree more. Said he couldn't protect me anymore and that I need to lay low before more things go wrong. And he's right. I am not his responsibility to begin with and now he's concerned of what might happen if my former identity gets out. He's worried that others who might know might trade in the secret for their own safety and I can't claim to know certain individuals well enough to deny the possibility.
I apologized for how things have turned out between he and I. And I asked him to make sure nothing happened to the crew while I'm gone. It'll probably be a very long while before I'll come back. He hugged me and said that they'd all be fine as long as they knew I was safe. I broke down in spite of my desperate attempts to maintain.
Gari cried and wailed the whole way home.
Dae and I have packed up everything and will leave late tonight for the Plaguelands until I come up with a better location for us. I feel like I should write a few letters, but.
Gari finally fell asleep.
