Cool.

If on Saturdays, I'm definitely digging this. Weeknights are possible, but less so.

Lemme see what interest I get, check with the wife, etc. She's less groovy about giving up weekend time on a regular basis.

Understood -- I can likely make a weeknight session, but there's some juggling I need to do to make that happen.

And if this does end up being weeknights, Tuesday is the only night that won't work for me.

Where's "local" for you? I'm not quite certain where you live.

Oddly enough, I've read a short article on this topic. GURPS Fantasy mentioned that the game world was populated by the "Banestorm" that imported groups from across Europe and Asia. The article in question suggested that it would be interesting to play a campaign set right after the Banestorm, in a medieval village dropped into a fantasy world.

I'm in Owings Mills, MD.

Scooped by GURPS? Curses!

It was an article in a webzine that has sufficiently vanished into the web that it is no longer findable via Google. I'm not sure that counts.

Color me interested in the game, BTW.

I'm happy to steal it and make it my own anyway.

I will color you. Is Owings Mills out of reach for a weeknight game for you?

Yes, but with some qualifications. Getting out of the city could be a campaign goal.

I have it envisioned as a city that is crumbling and overgrown with monstrous plants, so it's more like a ruins.

For atmosphere, I'm thinking "points of light" in an urban environment, with the feel of a zombie apocalypse movie. Entire adventures might surround finding food for the mini-community that counts on you for protection.

I'm also thinking that if characters die, they stay dead and I don't feel too bad about it. It's a horror game, of sorts. So having six ideas might be a good idea.

I have three interested players it seems but mostly for weekends. If I could possibly do this as a weeknight thing, it'd be no problem for me. As a Saturday thing, it requires negotiation and extra scheduling.

I keep thinking that most people in the city would be convinced that it was the End Times, the Trials & Tribulations...hmm...I think I know what I'd like to play.
