Where's "local" for you? I'm not quite certain where you live.

Oddly enough, I've read a short article on this topic. GURPS Fantasy mentioned that the game world was populated by the "Banestorm" that imported groups from across Europe and Asia. The article in question suggested that it would be interesting to play a campaign set right after the Banestorm, in a medieval village dropped into a fantasy world.

It was an article in a webzine that has sufficiently vanished into the web that it is no longer findable via Google. I'm not sure that counts.

Color me interested in the game, BTW.
