Dinner on day two was much as filling as it was the night before; cornbread, beef pot pie, chicken dumplings, and more corn. Nana already asleep in her bed, Adam on the porch, a Corona in one hand and Laramie's ear in the other. Soft touch allowed him to message the dogs ear, Laramie lavishing in it. Gaze to the stars, a sweet grin on his lost face

Full. Content. Indulging in a glass of white wine, she wandered out to the porch. Pausing, looking to Adam.
"i must say, I don't think the balcony is going to compare to this. Sure you can handle living in the city?'
No question on that. While she felt her place with him, leaving the city was not exactly an option.

"As long as we can still visit."
He sighed gracefully, a small purr in his throat. The distant sounds of thunder bellowed softly in the barely there breeze. Rain scented on the curls of the shifting grass. Warm humidity blanketed her world, comforting.
Adam smirked, flicking glance to his lady.
"You want to go for a w-a-l-k?"

Asked in all seriousness, a concerned look crossing her face. Stepping closer, canting her head.
"I love you as you are. And this place, these people, they are whom made you the man that I do love."
Laughing softly at his question.
"Y-E-S."

Was life always destined to end in such heartwrenching ways?
Shrugging off those thoughts, canting her head at Adam as he lead her across the property, wincing at his words.
"You.. .You don't have to get into this, Adam. I respect your right to your religion, even if I don't share it. I.. I just need to do a better job at respecting it."

"Adam?'
Asked so softly, her head canting to one side.
"I understand this was an amazing turning point in your life and that it has had an influence on everything you have done since but..."
Moving closer, caressing his back gently with her hand before wrapping her arms around his waist, leaning in to kiss his spine.
"Do you think this will change anything of how I feel for you?"

"Thank you. I... I havn't told anyone that. Not even Andy..."
Looking at her, softly smiling, so much weight no longer on his shoulders. A large chunk of the black water evaporating into the sky. He sighs softly, kissing her cheek.
"That... That's why I pray... D-dur-ring sex... Makes... Makes me feel like... like I'm... doin' somethin' bad.... It's the thrill that gets me along with whom..."

"You know, I should be offended,' she murmurs, pulling back and looking up at him. 'You just told me you needed more of a thrill to get yourself off while balls deep in me... I really should be hurt. Oddly enough? I'm more wondering if you'll wear a priest frock next time.'
Looking at him with wide innocent eyes, lips parted as she tries to mix innocence with sex.

"So, hmm, do we get to get into my kinky fantasies one night then? And.. I was kidding. I even have this latex nun costume I could wear. Tie me up with rosaries? Or better yet? I could tie you up and tell you how nasty you are.'
Whispering the words, purring them out in her best sex voice.

"That's... wow... "
The trees were growing somewhat thinner now, the flicker of lightning in the background.

Sliding his hand up his back, fingers tangling into his hair.
"What? Don't like the idea of doing penance on your knees before me? Hmm?'
Tugging a little at his hair, gentle hard as she tugs him head towards her, kissing him even as she walks.
