This summer sucked. I really didn't get anything done, though it was nice to see my friends in Florida all in all it was no good for me. Finally now school is going again and things are starting to pick up. At least if your degree is "what you make of it", you might be able get it to take you quite far, if you sell yourself right? But JET doesn't sound like a bad idea either. Or, at least from what I heard from our family friend when we were in Japan, there are a lot of companies there that need independent decision-makers (i.e., non-Japanese) to keep them competitive!

I guess the issue with a degree like this is the 'selling yourself' part. It's not something I make a habit of doing or anything. I know there are jobs, and probably at least a few jobs I would actually enjoy, but I don't know exactly where to look or exactly how to go about getting them either. There's the matter of connections as well, and whether I have the right ones or enough of them. Eh, it'll work out somehow, it's just less sure than if you have a very specific degree (like and accountant) or if you have a more general degree that is in demand (like in math or some sciences).

Yeah, that is true. I don't blame you, it's hard to sell yourself. :x But things will work out, and it seems like you end up making connections no matter what you do~
