Timmy

Introduction
Well, Timothy was born on the ninth of March, 1973 in Auckland, New Zealand. He had two very loving parents and two very loving sisters. Pretty fit too, having seen pictures of them ... er, anyway, Tim is pretty much the human equivalent to a cactus plant. He also has a terrible accent.

Do you feel that you were born with a predetermined role in society? If so, how do you feel about it?
Sometimes he used to whinge about having been cursed by God to be around me. I don't know if God predetermined that exact plan, but I think it proves Tim to be a man of God.

What is your New Year's Resolution?
Must. Increase. Grumpiness. One hundred per cent.

I can just imagine him saying that to himself every night before he went to bed.

Is there ever a good reason to get blinding drunk?
Of course there is! Good times: birthdays! Parties for no particular reason! Christmas! Father's day! New Years! Easter! Uh ... farewells! Births! Marriages!

Do you believe in love at first sight?
Well, from the moment our dear Timothy met Ms Agneau, I do believe he didn't flinch at all. So quite possibly not.

What's more important - self preservation or forgiveness?
Oh, Tim, how it should be forgiveness. But I'm afraid it may possibly be self-preservation. It's rather unfortunate, but in his mind, it's much more important to be concerned with staying alive than forgiving the Wraith when they kill again ...

How did you lose your virginity?
I'm not entirely sure it's happened for him yet. I mean, if it had, would he still be such a Mr Grumpy Man?

What's your favorite guilty indulgence?
He likes to shoot things? Oh, and yell at people.

If you could have dinner with anyone in all of history, who would it be, and why?
I'm not entirely sure, but it's definately no Napoleon.

What makes you laugh?
When was the last time we saw you laugh Tim? It's fairly sad that I can't think of anything. You need to laugh more often.

...oh, wait, there was that time I fell into that um, unspeakable bird ... thing ... you laughed pretty hard then ... yeah, that was mean.

What do you want on your tombstone - and why?
On Timothy's tombstone?

Mr Grumpy. Oh, or Grouch! Tim the Terrible? Yes, I like that one! I'm going to call you 'Tim the Terrible' from now on.

What is your favorite daydream, and why?
Favourite daydream? Does she have red hair?

Hearing, Sight, Taste, Touch, and Smell. The five senses. Which would be the worst one for you to lose, and why?
Sight. He wouldn't be able to hear enemy fire.

If you were left on a desert island, what three things would you take along?
A gun, some ammunition, and a photo of some really good looking chick.

What is the most important decision you've made in your life and why?
It probably had to do with joining the Army first of all, then when he joined the SGC. And then we both came here.

If you could change one moment in your past, what would it be?
Although he can't change it; he has always wished he could have taken his dad's place.

How do you handle confrontations?
He definately yells unnecessarily loud. And then he might shoot his gun a lot. Then back some orders ... yeah, and if it's just that someone has made him annoyed, he'll still yell heaps.

What is the oddest gift you have been given?
Do people give you gifts, Tim? If they do, it might be something like guns or whatnot. Anyway, if someone did give him a gift, I'd imagine that would be odd all by itself.

Apart from that, someone once sent him a nice little knitted jumper from home - he gave it to me and I treasure it to this day.

If you could live anywhere, where would you and why?
He lives in another galaxy now. How much more can a man ask for?

What's better: democracy or monarchy?
Monarchy, definately, if he's the king. Otherwise, I'm sure he'd be a pretty powerful soldier. Bossing people about. Wouldn't that suit you?

What would your life be, if it were a movie? Comedy, horror, drama sci-fi? And who would play you?
It would be an action film, full of gratuitous violence and swearing. There'd be loads of gunfire ... and who would play him? Bruce Willis, perhaps.

What is good and what is evil?
The Wraith would be number one evil here, and we'd be the good guys. Although, often enough, I'd imagine a few of us might be considered evil.

Who is your personal role model?
...

Isn't it hard to imagine him looking up to somebody? Well ... this is something he'll have to answer for himself, because he's never told me.

What would constitute a "perfect" evening for you?
He'd have to be alone with his thoughts, a book maybe. Just silence and no threat. Knowing that everyone he knows is close around him and safe.

If you could invent a holiday, what and when would it be? What special traditions would take place on that day?
Er ... uh ... this is a hard one. Well, it might have something to do with sheep. Probably something bad happening to them. Like a national Killing Sheep Day. Except ... maybe not quite that brutal? Actually, you never know.

What's a typical day for you?
Yell. Boss people about. Punch someone for good measure. Go out on an offworld mission, shoot some aliens ... uh, leave the diplomacy to everyone else. Get home. Eat something then, maybe. Oh, and check up on his teammates, just in case.

The world will end tomorrow. What do you do today?
Yeah, you see, we were told this once. Except it wasn't our world ... okay, it was, but not our original one. Er, anyway!

He was really ready to defend to the death. Didn't say anything to us, but hurried off to protect us anyhow.

What have you most regretted losing?
His old man.

And that very competetive bar fight one year!

How do you view commitment?
Commitment? Tim tries not to get involved, actually.

Would you choose to live forever if you had the choice?
One life is enough for him, I think.

What would your dream occupation be?
Isn't this it?

What makes you jealous and how do you deal with it?
He doesn't like it when other people hit on his girls. Only thing is, he's never officially had a girl ... but we all see how he reacts when anything else talks to Elise, right?

What is your weapon of choice?
P90?

Money, fame or happiness, you can only have one... what would you rather have and why?
I don't care what he would rather have, I'd rather he have happiness. Doesn't seem like he has enough of it, does it? Or he hides it really well.

Is there any truth to the saying: keep your friends close, and your enemies closer? Do you have enemies? Do you have more friends than enemies?
Er ... not in his case, not quite. I think he has a few million enemies ... except that they wouldn't all know him personally, and vice versa. But he probably has a fair few friends, anyway.

Do you believe in an afterlife?
Never heard him talking about this one. But how could he not? There has got to be something there.

What is the most important value you can pass onto your child?
Ho! Tim with a child? What would he pass on? Love? Happiness? Laughter?

Hm ... some weaponary skills, maybe?

Would you rather lead or follow? Why? What role do you see yourself playing out over your life, leader or follower?
Yessir, he's a keen leader. Always has been.

How do you handle disappointment?
Growls. Grumbles and glares.

Do you confront your problems head on, or ignore them until you have to do something? Do you procrastinate?
Sometimes he does procrastinate, actually. But not all the time. It's a little bit of half and half.

Do you consider yourself to be adventurous?
I think he is. Goes offworld and such, joined the SGC, joined Atlantis ... yep, surely he is. Even if he is a bit shy around women.

Who has had the most influence on your life?
Wouldn't this have the same sort of answer to that one about role models? But I think his dad did, really.

Gees, that guy has answered almost three, I think, of these questions.

Does heartache make you stronger?
Depends on what kind you mean. I'm sure you mean being in love with a member of the opposite sex kind of thing. Well, you can still have heartache when you lose somebody else that you love. Because if I take this question in that direction, it definately did.

Tim was nothing until he learnt he had to make something of himself. Even if his dad wouldn't be there to see it.

If you won the equivalent of $2,000, and had to spend it, what would you spend it on?
Oh ... uh ... he'd probably pay as many people as possible to stay away from him. Wouldn't work on me.

What happened the first time you got drunk?
You know what? I have never ever seen Timothy Stackhouse drunk.

What makes you feel vulnerable and what makes you feel invulnerable, and why?
When he does and doesn't have weapons and a transport vehicle.

What would you place in a personal ad if you were making one?
If he was making one? What the hell? Oh, that would be so laughable.

But I can imagine what I'd write if I was trying to be funny.

Incredibly sexually frustrated man needs incredibly patient partner. Please help!!!!!
