(no subject)
my birthday is in pretty much 22 days, technically 23, today is pretty much over to me... and i graduate in pretty much 25, technically 26 days. Just a word of advice, you may have been saying that it is your supreme wish to graduate since you were in 7th grade, but when you get to the point i'm at right now, you become a basket case... Theres so much to deal with, and i can't believe it's actually here... I'm excited, yet I'm scared because i know that college starts, for me, the 29th, I'm moving out, up to Austin, the 26th of August. After 18 years being home, I'll finally be on my own. Part of me is so completely revved, but the other part of me is scared shitless... like Holy Crap.... thats a matter of 3 months away... It's scary... I still ahve so much to do...
- I need to find out what the fuck is going on with my financial aide packet, i still haven't heard anything
- I need to do my final essay for internship
- i need to finish my essays for senior portfolio
- i need to make my presentation for senior portfolio
- i need to fine tune/ polish my "Who I am as a Learner" idea bull shit
- i need to find out my Eco Test grade, if i didn't make a clean B, I can't exempt... oh I pray to the most Holy God above that I made a B...
To put things in perspective for ISA seniors, and maybe everyone else....
- This week... it's almost over, I'm teaching some FOMUN classes on friday...
- Next week, I take half of my Senior exams
- the week after that, i finish my other 3 senior exams, and make my senior portfolio presentatin
- the week after that, i present my portfolio, pick up my cap and gown, and finish up my senior obligations and stuff...
- the FOLLOWING SUNDAY I GRADUATE...
I graduate in pretty much 3 and 1/2 weeks... this is freaking me out... I always knew this time would come, but I didn't think I would be semi- scared about it....
On a happier note, I had a really nice talk with Katie Judson today, it was quite pleasant, I'm going to miss ya girly... honestly, I really will... I also enjoyed helping you along with your Learner bull shit.... that was intense. Friday in class, we need to take a picture of that face I do... so I can put it in a card for you for a graduation gift!\
I'm off to cook some more to chill myself out... Yes, I can cook, I love to cook, and I'm damn good at it too... I've cooked for 3 consecutive days, this never happens... I want to make a meringue pie...
