This week at work has been testing. We had a blitz of specs which is essentially ads that aren't sold that sales is GOING to try and sell. So some moron creates all the copysheets incorrectly, causing more than 250+ Calgary and Edmonton ads to be made (by us) in black and white instead of colour. That's a huge screwup AND we had to redo them ALL. I still managed to do 28 ads yesterday on top of the 10 or so I had to redo so I did quite well, considering.
Then yesterday (Wednesday) was Breakfast Club. Breakfast Club is an event that happens the first Wednesday of every month at work and 4 random people have to make breakfast for the rest of the department and ad support. Sooo I had to do it this month. Fricking A. I hope I never have to do that again. I ended up buying a bunch of frozen stuff (Eggos, Toaster Strudel) and I also brought crackers and juice. It went okay I think... except the health freaks in the office almost had an aneurism but I really just don't care --- don't fucking eat it then. This stupid old woman that works for payroll started yelling at me because I was toasting stuff in the service centre instead of the cafeteria. Like, yes, okay, I'm definitely going to haul my ass to the other side of the building on this floor to toast breakfast and somehow transport it all back. NO. Plus, my boss said I could use the service centre. I'm just infuriated by the bullshit lately here. I keep finding myself getting in trouble trying to make others' lives easier and Nancy has stopped talking to me again, which I assume means she's spreading bullshit about me again. Just super.
Now that bitch emo rant is over, yay for weekend! I'm done here at 2:30 and then I'm just going to chill for the day (maybe hair cut??) and tomorrow I'm meeting up with tali first thing in the morning and we're going to have an epic day of hanging out/Crossiron Mill-ing (I really wish I could change that stupid name) anddd we'll probably also bring zombies near the brink of extinction. And then Saturday going shopping with mum and then probably picking up Chris on the way back anddddd not sure what else yet but man, I'm excited to escape from this place for awhile.
Tommy site is re-open! It's still under heavy construction though and I'm not even near finished. It's pretty basic right now.
I've also re-opened my online portfolio. It also needs some hardcore updating. I'm bringing home my ads I've done that I really like today and i'm going to update it soon...I think I'm going to try to start doing some design on the side also. It would bring in alot more money if I could get steady clients.
