Aww so I had such a good time last night. After being partially fashionably-late, partially late because of cops that almost ran me off the road in the pursuit of something breaking the law more than me, I got to Josh's and we left right away because our dinner reservation was at 7. I bought him a teddy bear and some Pocky, because let's just admit it, Pocky's pretty much a winner in most situations. So we jumped in his car which has magical ass-warming capabilities and kind of missed our reservation but it's okay because it turns out Josh knows the woman who owns the restaurant which was pretty cool. It was this really fancy italian place downtown somewhere, I wasn't really paying attention because downtown frightens me and I have no particular need to memorize it. I do believe it was called Zia's or something like that?? Anyway the environment was fantastic and the food was really good too (BESTPASTAEVAR) once I figured out what everything on the menu was. It never got to that strange, awkward point where there's no conversation which was great. So yeah he bought dinner cuz he's pretty much a sweetheart and he noted that the spa he opened with this lady was nearby so I asked to see it. So we walk like half a block and he takes me in and gives me a tour and its so neat --- totally never been in a spa before. He offered me a massage but I didn't want to make the poor guy work after he'd done it all day, even though he assured me it wouldn't be work haha.
So then, because somehow he secretly knew he'd get me to the spa he pulls out a big thing of roses and this really cute card and gives it to me which was pretty much adorable. Awwww.
So then we went and rented movies from my old store in Coventry and went back to Josh's and watched one and cuddled for a bit and then I came home (read: LATE. My family probably thought i was breaking in). Anyway, awesome date and there's no weird and I'm excited to see him again. So far, so good! haha.
