Just when you think a show will be a good background...
There's nothing really interesting on cable, so I switched to netflix, thinking 'Heavy Rescue 401' could be a good show to put on while I read fanfic. But nooo, stupid show. First it's set in Canada, so they have a neat accent, and say semi weird. Then they're doing these cool things with heavy equipment.
Also, it's a highway between Toronto and Sarnia. I keep wanting to think it's Narnia. lol
Also, car wrecks, er, semi wrecks.
And, of course, they use that urgent music and narrator. It's a little cheesy, but it kind of works.
BTW, they totally swear all the time.
Sounds like there are companies that have to fight to get tows. They just drive around to be wherever there might be a big wreck. Wonder how much they spend on fuel. Seems to suck.
(I wonder if the rubberneckers drive the wrecker people nuts).
There is a truck that can lift up a trailer, twist it in midair, and put it back down. Holy crap.
