Wow, an update.
*Rode today, which really pumped me up for some reason. Rex prefers to not actually do any hard work (= rounding and using all his parts equally), but it really helps me to do a lot of trot and working to at least keep him on the right track.
*Rex' canter is still about 2 miles long. He didn't even want to try working on it tonight. Going to have to work on transitions to try to get his back end working better.
*Tess is still cute, although she's growing. A few days ago her butt and withers were the same height, which made me sad. But then the next day her butt was back up high again, so she's still a baby.
*Tess does well with leading. Mostly with halting on the lead. Learning to move the front and back end separately. Picking up feet isn't too difficult, but she still often loses her balance. So not good with personal space-really trying to work on that one. Endotapping blew her little mind, but eventually she chilled and started chewing.
*I actually went out on a date like thing for lunch today. He seems nice, and was easy to talk to. He likes scifi, but isn't a fanboy. I described slash, and he didn't freak, so maybe he's not too bad. lol We'll see. It was hard enough to go out with a new person, not to mention in a 'maybe eventually date' sort of way. I stayed calm before it by just thinking about it being a fan meet up (thanks peeps:).
*Marcy (the 13?yo indoor cat) is still skinny-ish, but much more active on the new food. I'm contemplating taking her to the vet, anyway.
*Finally found a harness big enough for Sally (so I can clip her into the back of the truck for safety). Had to go to the mastiff dog breed store and get extra large. Now I'm just waiting for it to get here. Then I can take Sally to the vet for her shots. :)
