OOC: The dialogue mentioned in this entry, as well as the events, are taken from 20x22 "Love Eternal."
Every time I think I've seen it all...or at least seen a LOT...we get another case that reminds me I definitely haven't.
We're looking into the death of a man whose wife left him in a dog cage while she was out of town for the weekend. Apparently, it was some sort of sex game. He was killed with a sword, while in the cage, which they also used for sex play.
She's claiming she didn't do it because he was her "soulmate." No other explanation, although the cops did find out way more about her sex life than anyone wanted to know (...the report we got mentioned whips and fake dog tails, among the milder things).
Today in arraignment court, when the judge asked her to plead guilty or not, she said, "I plea NOT POSSIBLE. How can you murder YOUR SOUL?"
Good on the judge - he said, without missing a beat, "Stick around - you'll see."
Oh, yeah - if all that wasn't enough - did you know that you can cremate people and have them turned into diamonds?
She had her first husband turned into a giant diamond ring. We're pretty sure she killed him, too. She mentioned wanting to turn the remains of Husband #2 into a pendant...
