Voicemail to Jack McCoy
Jack--Falco couldn't get ahold of you so he gave me a ring. Call me back. It's urgent.

Nick Falco: *ringringringConniephone*
Connie Rubirosa: *answers* Rubirosa.
Nick Falco: Yeah, it's Nick. Melnick and your guy have a mutual friend.
Connie Rubirosa: Melnick and who?
Nick Falco: Strickland.
Connie Rubirosa: Reeeeally.
Nick Falco: Yes indeed.
Connie Rubiros: Tell me more, please.

Nick Falco: Paul Keller, the state Attorney General?
Connie Rubirosa: No shit?
Nick Falco: No shit.

Connie Rubirosa: What'd you find out?
Nick Falco: Strickland did his campaign. And he's the guy who helped McCoy get Melnick outta that jam.
Nick Falco: He's an okay guy - my guess is he doesn't know what a sleazeball Strickland is.

Connie Rubirosa: So she took his case for favors...after Keller used his pull to prevent her from getting disbarred.
Nick Falco: Not so much pull as....well, put in a good word.
Connie Rubirosa: ...right. Do you know how good this would look in the Ledger? *totally evilly said*
Nick Falco: Pretty bad. But from what I hear, Melnick's not so bad, and neither is Keller.
Connie Rubirosa: Perhaps not. But maybe I can convince her and her client to make a deal. Who knows what other little secrets she's hiding.

Nick Falco: Maybe. Or maybe someone in Keller's office would help you crack it open. I have a number.
Connie Rubirosa: Can I have it?
Nick Falco: Sure. Terry Parisse. 555-323-1414.
Nick Falco: Apparently, they were the go-between for Keller and Strickland. Probably feelin' a little nervous right now.
Connie Rubirosa: I'll bet.
