SENEL VS FLYNN ad_libitum_npcs June 22 2011, 01:38:35 UTC

[So who was his opponent again? Senel doesn't know, and at this point, he doesn't really care since he's kind of regretting signing up for this now. Still, he'd better put on a decent show! Adjusting his bracers, he waits for his opponent before giving him an acknowledging nod.]

Let's get this over with.

[Flynn enters the area, full suited with his armor and shield. Does this things even necessary? Joining? ...Well, that's non-arguably one of the best method to cancel all the havoc in the surrounding. After all, to stop a tiger you ought to jump into the cage yourself.]

Very well.

[Flynn, apparently, could form a small smirk by his lips. To be honest, little part inside him is aching for this, a sword fight. That's what he promised Yuri as well.]

Demon Fang!

[First thing first, ranged attack; keeps your distances while giving you enough time to analyze your opponent.]

[Okay, a sword fighter like Chloe. Senel leaps to the left to dodge the attack before immediately running in for a close attack.

... No one ever said that Senel was smart. These people wanted a fight, and dammit, they were going to get one.]

Dragon Blast! [Aiming for Flynn's stomach while powering his fists with eres - which is kind of obvious, since his whole hand's glowing bright blue.]

ARCHE VS RUCA ad_libitum_npcs June 22 2011, 01:38:51 UTC
I'm rooting for you Ruc- ow! You don't have to hit me Arche! ;_; flying_terror June 23 2011, 05:21:18 UTC
[Arche floated on her broom, staring at the swordsman before her curiously. The kid didn't look look all that strong in her opinion, but the fact that he's using a broadsword hints that he may be stronger than he looks. She'll just have to keep out of his range then.]

/Ruca refuses to fight/ ...Wait what?! peaceful_flame June 23 2011, 18:21:56 UTC
[Meanwhile, Ruca is wondering how did it even happened that he had to fight a girl in a first round. It just doesn’t feel right to fight her!

A sigh. He really doesn’t have much choice now anyway. He couldn’t give up and couldn’t lose either, because if he did, Spada would laugh at him forever.

He takes a good hold of his broadsword, eyeing the broom of the magic user. Even if she planned to keep distance from him, he could still attack using his spells.

...But the biggest problem here is... that he really doesn’t want to fight her at all!]

Arche used Ember! flying_terror June 24 2011, 09:14:20 UTC
[ Noticing how he didn't seem inclined to first, Arche decides to make the first. Hovering higher into the air began her spell, let's see if she could spot his weakness early and cinch this battle!]

Fireball!

JADE VS GENIS ad_libitum_npcs June 22 2011, 01:39:07 UTC
elvengenius June 22 2011, 23:23:56 UTC
[Why did he sign up again? The prizes apparently appealed to him more than he thought, even if he didn't exactly know what said prizes were. Bringing out his kendama, Genis swings it casually before glancing over at his opponent.

It'd certainly be interesting to see how this went, considering they were both spellcasters.]

[Jade stands at ease with his hands in his pockets. With having lived on Atlas but not having the memory of it, he must assume that his fighting style is known to the other contestants. A bit of a handicap, and one that could cost him this match. Even so, he keeps his spear fused to his right arm instead of holding it at the ready. Every little bit of surprise helps.]

[He glances his opponent over. The boy isn't terribly impressive-looking, but appearances are often deceiving. What's that he's holding - a flail? No, some sort of ball-and-stick game. An odd choice for a weapon. He wonders if there must be some sort of gimmick to it, like Anise's doll.]

Let's not keep the crowd waiting, now.

[Oh! The Colonel! Genis blinks as he pulls out his kendama.] So I'm fighting against you? ["This can't end well.

Still, the Colonel has a point. Genis waits for the MC to call "Three! Two! One! START!" before jumping back to the side of the arena as he begins to cast his spell arte.

Come on, come... he just hopes he casts faster than the Colonel or it's game over.]

YURI VS LLOYD ad_libitum_npcs June 22 2011, 01:39:19 UTC
twinswordderp July 7 2011, 08:20:47 UTC
[While this was serious business, Lloyd definitely felt he could afford some manners; they weren't here to kill eachother after all. Just test their mettle.]

Hey! How are you?

[Though, Yuri would have a time trying to get the red-clad swordsman to impart his name first; even if they did know who was who from the roster and announcements. He had to say, he was definitely interested in comparing sword-styles, just they way the other man held his implied a relaxed, experienced nature.]

SYNC VS SPADA ad_libitum_npcs June 22 2011, 01:39:33 UTC

[For the time being, the weaponless green-haired boy was going to stand with his arms crossed, silently. There was a specific hint of irony here he knew, the only thing worse would be fighting the Seventh or any of the other Replicas.

He was impressed by the two swords though, in most cases it either meant he was very skilled, or very foolish, but if he had enough faith to be here, he was betting skilled. That suited Sync just fine; he liked a challenge.]
