[Dist had tracked down the location of the guild building somehow. He still didn't really know what this Ad Libitum was all about, but he had heard that they might be authorities on this world, and he needed answers. Besides, he was finding making even something relatively simple to be slow going without all his tools; it would be better if he had a powerful employer. If this turned out to be a large enough organization to provide him with materials, he might deign to work for them. Maybe. They'd better be grateful that he was even considering it!
He adjusted his collar and straighted his posture, then flung open the door and strode in dramatically.]

[Hey, there was no one here. Just some little pink Cheagle-like thing. What sort of guild would let animals run around its headquarters?]
[Asch had gladly spun on his heel and turned away, having dealt with enough people for one day. At this rate, he really would become a babysitter for the other members, especially with all of the little kids and creatures now roaming around. He would have to go on a quest or something to avoid all of the socializing that would come with meeting them

[Paneer blinked. The door had slammed open suddenly (was that a mark on the wall?) and a strange man had strode in and started proclaiming his identity at the top of his voice before stopping just as abruptly to stare at her. Then before she could say anything footsteps sounded yet again and Asch walked in with a scowl that seemed to deepen when he saw the first man.]
...Hello. It seems that the guild leader isn't here at the moment. [smile] Dist? I'm Paneer. My kind are called the Natsu-Natsu in my world.
[Living with the... assorted personalities on Van Eltia had definitely acclimatised Paneer to all sorts of strange situations.]
[Never mind that he had more right to be here than Dist did; Dist didn't want someone around who might misrepresent him.]
[He jumped when Paneer addressed him. Did that pink thing just talk? And... was it being nice to him?! Dist stared at it blankly, looking possibly just slightly panicked.]

[Paneer beamed at Yuan's answer, obviously delighted with the task she'd been assigned. She had been worried that the guild wouldn't accept her... the banishment of those worries only cheered her up more.]

Well! I, Dist the Rose, happen to be the most renowned expert in fonic technology in all of Auldrant! Naturally, I wouldn't be interested in joining your organization unless you could provide me with materials and a laboratory, at the very least. I don't think that's much to ask in exchange for my incredible talents! Otherwise, you're just a waste of my time!
