Pain pills are my only savior

So a week ago today I got all of my wisdom teeth out and my gums still feel like there is a little armored guy standing on them and poking them with a sword. Is that normal? I called to get a follow up, which I just found out who I was supposed to call, and they told me they'd call me back. On top of that I have strep throat (at least I'm pretty ( Read more... )

Awwww... *pats* I hope that you feel better! I was swollen/draining for about a week after I had mine out, but I had to go back about a month ago and get more antibiodics because I had developed a swelling at the base of one side.

Turns out i have dry sockets, and so now there is clover-tasting dressing stuffed in my tooth holes. Now that stuff leaks out and makes everything taste horrible. On the up side though it does hurt less...

But you sound like you had things worse than I, you tough gal you.

That sucks! Yuck. I'm glad that it hurts less, though!
Hahahaha - not really - they had me on steroids O.o and such powerful painkillers that I spent a lot of time sitting down and spacing out.
