Pain pills are my only savior
So a week ago today I got all of my wisdom teeth out and my gums still feel like there is a little armored guy standing on them and poking them with a sword. Is that normal? I called to get a follow up, which I just found out who I was supposed to call, and they told me they'd call me back. On top of that I have strep throat (at least I'm pretty sure I do, my throat is all swollen, misshapen, and has pus coming out of it). I went into the on-base clinic yesterday and they swabbed and said they'd call me with the results; meanwhile another guy in the shop got his results the same day he went in and went on con leave immediately. WTF! I can't even distinguish what hurts anymore; the whole mouth throat area in general is throbbing and keeping my up in the middle of the night. The only thing that has been keeping me going, the 800mg Ibuprofen is about to run out, and all that I can do is wait for phone calls...
