It's a remembrance holiday. For eight nights during Hanukkah Jews light a candle on a special lamp called a menorah. We're commemorating a victory over our oppressors, and we eat a lot of fried food and play games too now.

We stopped sacrificing things a long time ago. It's fallen out of fashion, all that blood sacrifice stuff.
