Tomorrow I go yarn shopping! I am going to work on
this for Nii-san (only, you know, in a much more serious and dignified pattern, because it's Nii-san),
this for my father and uncle, and
this for my mother. Along with some super-secret projects - who for? ONLY TIME WILL TELL! >:D I already finished
this for my auntie. I'm about half-done with Otouto's scarf - it needs more yarn, but the store from which I bought his is closed on Sundays, so, big yarn-buying excursion. I probably won't get everything, because I'm going to the yarn store near my house, which is very small. And actually a little embarrassing to go into, because it's literally two rooms in someone's house, and the owner's right there, and I always feel really guilty if I don't find what I need. I feel bad about going all the way downtown for my yarn, but the downtown yarn store is just better. That's where I got the alpaca/wool stuff for Otouto's scarf. I figure I'll get what I can from here, and then finish stuff up tomorrow when the downtown one is open.
Re-watching the Doctor Who season five finale made me want to read ALL THE FANFICTION set during the current hiatus, because REALLY, GUYS. I can now squee about how that took all the awesome parts of Doctor Who and put them together, only unlike some previous finales the result was not crack, the result was pure, unfiltered awesomeness. I MEAN. WHERE DO WE START. Shall we start at the point when Rory's love for Amy overrides the Nestene Consciousness, or shall we start at the point when River Song (PhD!) made a Dalek beg for mercy - and did it died anyway? It was time-travel without the part where I want to put my foot through something. I'm not too excited about the Christmas special because none of the Christmas specials have particularly excited me, but season six? BRING IT.
I nearly turned this into a politics post and used my sad Mr Gaeta icon. But that can wait for another day.
I have so. Much. Knitting and so. Much. Finals. D:
