hurry up summer...
I can't wait for summer vacation. I'm so totally over school for the year. The kids are losing their minds and I'm out of patience. I actually had to sit one kid in the corner facing the wall just to keep him from talking. My high school kids perform tomorrow... a couple of good pieces, some okay ones, and a couple that just blow... do they think I'm kidding when I tell them to memorize? My Middle Division kids perform on Thursday and are actually doing real funny stuff... when they aren't climbing the walls.
So basically, I can't wait for it to be over.
Rehearsals for We Wont Pay are so wonderful that I wish I was just doing that. The cast is hilarious and maladr1n's cracking the whip... but I never realize it because the work seems so easy and fun!
Writing for Grimms is getting exciting... it's starting to look like a show, folks!
You know why I love those things so much? I feel like a teenager! I get to jump on furniture, fling my body around the stage in the most reckless manner, and come up with potty humor and new ways to humiliate people. I LOVE IT!!!! And I get to hang out with the coolest of cats.
So let me slap myself a little to wake up and then I get to go play with the Grimmy kids. I swear... this Jobsite gig... best job in the whole world!
