I have a new computer with Windows 7, and once I learn how to use it better, I'm going to start uploading Youtube videos again. I love how fast it is.
I went to the Southern Women's show today, and I got lots of free samples and ads and stuff. I ate more ice cream than is really good for me too, because both Turkey Hill and Front Porch ice cream were giving out as many samples as people would take. I tried Sweet Tea ice cream from Front Porch and also triple Chocolate. Turkey Hill had chocolate vanilla side by side cups. I sampled several energy drinks, dips, breads, popcorn, nuts, pickles, fried chicken, and cornbread too. I also talked to a lady who used to volunteer at CRC back when it was CRRRC back in the 80's. She asked me if they still had Edelweiss the Snowy Owl. I had to say no. I wish they still had that bird because Snowies are beautiful. I also talked to another lady who has lots of birds who was at the plant nursery booth, and I talked to a lady who does pet portraits. There was also a group that wants to build a zoo in Charlotte.
There are also some things they had there that if I had lots of money, I would get them. One is an exercise machine that vibrates really fast when you stand on it, and it is like a massage after I had been walking all day. The other is the Juice Plus tower garden. The Tower garden is a hydroponic system, and I could easily fit one on our deck. The lady that was selling them had pictures of hers, and it had the most beautiful squash and cucumbers planted in it. She also had a cute picture of her "pet bee" who pollinated all her plants.
I saw water pearls too. We already have some of those, but I love the blue ones and the new light pink ones. They also had some pretty green ones in a couple shades of green that are different then the ones we have.
There was also lots of sparkly jewelry and pretties. I saw prism suncatchers I wanted too.
I also got to pet some cute dogs. One of them was a Dutch Shepherd, and he was a big puppy who will be over 100 pounds when he is full grown. There was another dog that I'm not sure what kind he was. Then there was Lady. She was a Jack Russell/Whippet mix who is trained to sniff out bedbugs. She looked a lot like my dog, Dixie, and I petted her while she laid on her back on the exhibit bed.
