worms everywhere

There are these annoying little worms all over the place at the raptor center. They come down on strings of silk, and I keep walking into them. They are all over everything, the rails, the dumpster, me. I don't like them. They tickle and itch.

One of the Barred Owls scared me today. She gave a loud howling hoot while my back was turned. I think that's the first time any one of them has made noises other than their squabbling noise and this upset cry.

I didn't hear my mystery bird today.
