Night
was there
to carry
me home through the

It appears I am feeling very poetic today. This is pretty much the same as the previous entry, only it is a color instead of an emotion.

Blue

Blue feels like silk.
Blue is melancholy.
Blue tastes like tears.
Blue smells like the ocean.
Blue looks like a cloudy day.
Blue sounds like rain on the pavement.

Back in middle school, one of the English teachers asked her students to write about an emotion. They were to write about how that emotion felt, smelled, sounded like, looked like, and tasted like as well as the color of the emotion. This is my attempt to do that.
