On dog breeds on Wikipedia.
And ok, so it's Wikipedia... so that leaves some space for uncertainty on accuracy.

But point is, at some point in life I want a dog. I really, really want a dog.
So, in vague, not not precise order of preference, here are breeds that I'd definitely consider.

Vizsla

The only reason I've heard of this breed is that it just won a 'best on show' competition or something. Wikipedia's main page.

Japanese Spitz

Oh my goodness, I have not seen puppies cuter than a Japanese Spitz puppy, nor dogs more elegant than a full-grown well raised Spitz.

Alaskan Malamute

A bit wary of the exercise needs of a Malamute. They're supposedly lower maintenance than huskies though, and apparently very nimble around the house. The Alaskan Klee Kai might make a good alternative then. Hmmm.

Tamaskan Dog

This dog just looks bad ass. I mean seriously. And it's good around smaller pets and children? Wow.
Definitely a winner. The Utonagan is pretty cool as well, but apparently has serious problems with warm weather. There's also the Czechoslovakian Wolfdog but it sounds like a lot to handle. Not sure if I can do that.

Beagle

Beagles are a classic. They're supposedly not inherently a very easy breed to train, being easily bored and easily distracted... but they're bright and creative. Sounds like some children I know.

Also looked at a few Japanese breeds. All of them sound endearing and they're on this list, but I actually have to go back to doing work now. Haha.

Akita Inu, Kishu, Shiba Inu, Shikoku
