A great shining wind.

I love when Monday nights feel like Sunday nights. It is 8 and the sun is still up and I've been wearing shorts and a tank top all day. The next two weeks are vacation and I couldn't be happier. A good debut to the vacation as well, I would say. A massive party that, apart from the Parisian girl(s) puking in the bathroom, went off without a hitch regardless of the fact that about 3X as many people showed up than I anticipated. Spent the next day biking around, going to mp favorite places and chilling out with Azzis, a new member to my Parisian 'family'. Made a bangin' dinner at Stacey's of about 7 courses and pretty much ate from 21h to 2 while the rain just came down. Not bad. Spent Sunday biking around with Brian and chillin' with Azzis then had a successful night of bike snatching.

Woke up at 13h today, went down stairs and had pizza, coffee and this really good cake from Bretagne then Sardines and chatted about politics and philosophy with Azzis and Lydia for a good to hours while soaking in the sun. Spent the rest of the day working on my bike(s) and messing around the house. It's really nice with Azzis living here now. I pretty much get twice the meals that I'm used to having. Most of the weekend was spent me making something to eat, eating it, then sharing a drink and cigarette with Azzis, then he would make a second meal. I quite like the new dynamics of my household: eating pretty much all day, living on the balcony and chilling with my new favorite person who tells me stories all day and cooks for me. Not bad, not bad at all.

I never could have imagined a life so incomprehensibly brilliant...

Now I just need to get my American bank card in the mail so I can pay rent and make things a little less awkward between Lydia and I as I am two weeks overdue on rent...and, sadly, I have to get my plane ticket rescheduled and actually put an end to my stay here in France as I'm technically set to leave next Sunday, which clearly isn't happening...
