Voila! The very first entry of my Live Journal! (w00t!) Today is Saturday and I want to school to see if I got into our spring musical, Cabaret. I tried out for Herr Schultz and even got called back (impressive for a freshman!), but didn't get the role. Oh well, at least I made the chorus. Maybe I'll get something next time; keeping my fingers crossed. The idea is to get a thespian chord for graduation. Maybe that should be a goal. I will not stop posting on this livejournal until I attain that chord (unless of course the site shuts down before then...). Anyway, onto other topics:
You must be thinking the name sounds weird. Besides the obvious, that Melon Collie sounds like melancholy, which is my usual status, but it also shows that I like melons (especially watermelons...yum!) and my dad's a vet (thus the collie). Oh well, at least I thought it was punny.
Things to look forward to: First Cabaret rehearsal on Monday (thus ending my social life as I know it). I should also have rehearsal the rest of the week, so I most likely won't be able to post until next weekend. Oh yes, and next Saturday (or sometime around there), a blind date. My friends set me up and it's going to be a double date. That should be interesting (already nervous!). I think that's it for the near future. I'll be sure to post again tomorrow.
