Yesterday has got to be one of the more emotional days of my life. Sitting on the couch at 6:30PM, watching neighbours, I was so nervous because the university first round offers were being released in two and a half hours. I sat on the couch until 7:30PM and decided to watch Australian Princess until I became too nervous and lugged my ass down to the comp. 9PM came and went and I couldn't log in because the servers were so jammed. 9:40PM came around and I STILL couldn't log in and by then I was so angry and fustrated that when Nancy called I answered with a really upset "WHAT?!?!?!" (once again, I'm sorry for the rudeness Nancy). By then I had found out that some had made it into Pharmacy, others Medicine (congratulations to Linda, Jessica Nghiem and Katie). Some had made it into Law, others Commerce and I STILL couldn't log in so I told Nancy to do it for me. She told me that I had made it in and pasted this on my screen:
310331Bachelor of Commerce - Marketing/Bachelor of Laws - full time at Macquarie University (DFEE) 15/01/2007

I called my mum down and I started crying and she started crying and we danced around and I paused for a second because I saw (DFEE) and I thought I had only made it to fee paying but then I figured that I made it into a CSP as well! Why the hell would they give me a DFEE place as well?
So, I guess this year that is what I'm doing. It was my FIRST choice and I wasn't even expecting to get it. My mum and sister kept telling me "you'll get it" and I kept saying "don't say that" because I was afraid that I'd be disappointed again like I was with my UAI. Nevertheless, I made it into the course that I wanted. WOO.
Nancy and I decided to go out for a celebratory midnight dinner so I headed to Sung's house to pick him up. Ended up having to go from Auburn to Wakely and back to North Parramatta then Telopea to pick Nancy, Wendy and Jess up. We decided to go to Pancakes on The Rocks and met up with Nancy's parents there. Her parents are SO cool. They are your most ideal parents EVER. Afterwards, I dropped Sung off at Chris' house while Nancy's parents dropped Jess and Wendy off. Got home at around 3 and my family was still awake. They all had a good nights sleep whilst I was struck by insomnia once again but that doesn't matter because I'm so over the moon!
WOO!
