i could not, in a million years, have asked for a more beautiful incredible amazing wonderful blessed wedding day. it was perfectly imperfect and there is not one thing that i would change.
rebecca and i went to bed at like 11 the night before and got plenty of sleep.
i did my makeup and hair at our apartment, got my lashes put on at my work and headed out to my parent's house around 11 or noon.
all of my bridesmaids arrived shortly after and i helped everyone get ready, doing makeup and such. i didn't get my dress on and everything until after 2:00.
we took some pictures at the house then piled up in the limo to head to the church at 3:00.
we hung out in the nursury for about an hour before it was showtime.
it was then that my heart started beating out of my chest. my dad and i were so nervous standing there behind the doors, then the doors were opened and i saw my groom. i kept composed but he looked incredible and i couldn't believe that this was it, what we have been planning all this time for. it was here and i was so ready.
i held onto levi the whole ceremony, just taking it all in. i have watched the video a few times and cry, it's still surreal.
we were announced as husband and wife and waited downstairs for everyone to filter out.
we then left the church through a crowd of people blowing bubbles and releasing balloons.
dang it, i am getting teary eyed again. i thought listening to too pure to die would help me stay tough but i am still being a big baby with tears of joy.
we said some hellos, gave lots of hugs, were amazed at everyone that came to show us support then headed to the park to take some sweeeeet (as in cute and just freaking awesome) pictures.
i haven't got them back yet but can not wait to see them.
the reception was a blast and a half.
great food, yummy cupcakes, friends, family, laughs, fun music, getting crunk. it was so complete.
